President - Bill Michalopulos
Bill has participated in the game of soccer, as a player, coach, and club official for over 35 years. He was a provincial (six years), university, top amateur and semi-professional player (Switzerland), in his youth and into his 30's. A holder of the Provincial B coaching license, he has successfully coaches girls and boys competitive youth teams in Ottawa (ERSL/OCSL), as well as the provincial level (OYSL), for a total of 15 years. During his period, his tams achieved a combination of 12 league championships and/or league cup titles.
Bill is one of the primer architects in the conception and genesis of the Ottawa South United (OSU) soccer club, as well as being the "founding" President of OSU. He holds commerce (Honours) and Arts Degrees, and is originally from Western Canada.
With a professional business background in private and public corporations, in both domestic and international settings, Bill currently works as a senior executive at a major crown corporation. Upon his return to Canada from Switzerland in 1990, he and his spouse Greta settled in Manotick. Bill and both of his children play for OSU soccer teams and also enjoy downhill skiing and volleyball. In 2009, Bill was awarded the Investors Group Outstanding Volunteer Award for his life time achievements in soccer by the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA).
Past President - Lorne Leech
A long time resident of Nepean, Lorne has been a member of the club for over 20 years. Beginning as a player in Men's House League, Lorne was also the house league coordinator for 5 years. Lorne enjoyed a 13 year career as a club coach, coaching girls' Youth Recreational for 4 years, and girls' Competitive for 9 years. Lorne has also been an active Man in Black for 12 years. Finally, Lorne's active role in club management included 3 years service as Vice President of South Nepean United, followed by 4 years as President. A founding member of Ottawa South United, Lorne has been OSU's Past President since the merger.
Vice President - Duncan Campbell
A founding member of OSU, Duncan Campbell has serviced the ORSA - OSU soccer organization for the past 25 years. Over that time, Duncan has been a board member for 8 years, and coached for 32 team/seasons. Duncan has played soccer all of his life, and currently plays for the OSU OT2 team. Duncan holds a Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia, where he majored in Finance and Computer Science. In 1975, he moved from Vancouver to Ottawa and became a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young. Through his business career, he has worked for a number of high tech companies in Ottawa, most notably Mitel, where he was CFO/Corporate Controller, for 10 years. For the past 15 years he's been a founder/principal in Multiview Inc., a local financial software company.

Mike loves soccer! He has been playing since he was old enough to walk. Since entering the twilight of his competitive playing career, Mike has been focusing more of his time and energy on instilling his love of the game on others. As a Provincial Pre-B coach, Mike is actively involved with coaching for OSU. Both he and his wife Jennifer play soccer in the OCSL. A resident of Barrhaven, Mike has been active in the Ottawa soccer scene for over 20 years - as a player, coach, registrar and board members with the Ottawa Falcons. He has coached with his daughters competitive teams for OSU for the past 4 years. When not playing, coaching, or watching soccer, Mike spends his spare time as a software development manager for Canada's largest software company.
